Good evening fellow SPSW members! Attached you'll find the current issue of the club's newsletter.
This month's demonstration is by SPSW member Dennis Craughan who will be showing us how to create a 3-sided, segmented, lidded box. You can read Dennis' bio and find the link to his YouTube channel on pages 3 & 4.
We have announced the need for some volunteers to join our Board of Directors and we are happy that 4 members have stepped up and offered to help keep our club the great resource that it is. We still have 3 positions open, which you can see in the newsletter. Please take a look and see if you could fill one of these positions. Training is available.
Once again, John will have the club store open for you to pick up your needed supplies. Stop by and pick up those items you are missing, or just let John know what items you think we should stock. The current store list is on pages 16 & 17.
There are a couple of regional woodturning events coming up presented by the Northwest Washington Woodturners in October, and the Oregon Woodturning Symposium in March. Also, there is another woodturning class in December hosted by the Port Townsend School of Woodworking.
