Our August membership meeting will be the second and last mini-symposium for the year. The mini-symposium features several SPSW members demonstrating many different techniques and skills. There are several stations set up for the membership to rotate through. Prior demonstrations include:
- Large vessel hollowing
- Small vessel hollowing
- Tools sharpening
- Segmented turning
- Turning peppermills
- Ornamental/Rose Engine turning
- Beading with a skew
- Pen design and pen turning
- Inlay
- Safety
- Pyrography
